About The Position

The Cement Iron Parts Technician assists with the breakdown and maintenance of iron and support equipment used in cement operations. The role prepares iron for inspection, maintains iron quality assurance, and keeps the parts room stocked and organized with tools and support equipment. The position follows a 14-days-on, 7-days-off schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and requires work in all weather conditions.

Requirements

Maintenance experience is preferred.
Maintain a current, valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Have reliable transportation and be able to arrive at the yard on time for callouts.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to performing all duties.
Be able to safely work a 14-days-on, 7-days-off schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Be physically able to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, crawl, walk on uneven surfaces, and climb equipment ladders or stairs throughout the shift.
Be physically able to safely lift 50 pounds and lift 25 pounds above the head.
Know how to use hand tools safely.
Be able to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold.

Responsibilities

Assist with the breakdown and maintenance of cement treating iron and support equipment.
Clean and maintain heads, manifolds, swedges, and quick connects.
Load and unload iron from equipment.
Maintain iron quality assurance.
Paint iron for company designation.
Maintain inventory for iron, tools, and supporting equipment.
Prepare and stage cement treating iron for inspections and pressure testing.
Keep the parts room organized and fully stocked with tools and support equipment.
Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies by attending required training sessions and safety meetings and using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Perform other duties as assigned.
