About The Position

Cement Masons are assigned to crews to pave and repair road surfaces. Your duties involve physically demanding construction general labor while working around heavy equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year prior experience in concrete/asphalt construction
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify
• Valid driver’s license with no more than 3 moving violations and no DUIs within a two year rolling period
• Pre-employment medical fit-for-duty test; hold/obtain DOT medical card
• Join and maintain Union membership
• Fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Place, smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete such as walls, sidewalks and roads using a variety of hand and power tools
• Keep worksite clean and organized free from unnecessary hazards
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on assigned vehicles and equipment
• Perform other tasks as requested by leadership
