About The Position

2 Towns Ciderhouse is seeking a Cellar Crew Member to work within the production crew crafting alcoholic beverages. The role focuses on day-to-day fermentations, filtrations, and production, along with supporting packaging and maintaining a clean cellar. The company welcomes experienced homebrewers who are passionate about craft beverages and interested in learning about production at a larger scale.

The position involves a fast-paced production environment, approximately 40 hours per week, on a 12-hour second-shift schedule. The stated schedule is Wednesday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., with a Wednesday rotation between four days on/three days off and three days on/four days off. Starting pay is $18.90 per hour.

Requirements

• Have a strong work ethic and a positive outlook.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
• Perform lifting, moving, and pulling tasks, including moving kegs weighing 150 pounds or more onto and off pallets.
• Drive a forklift and operate Skyjacks.
• Climb ladders and work with chemicals.
• Work approximately 40 hours per week on the specified 12-hour second-shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day fermentations, filtrations, and production of craft alcoholic beverages.
• Fill and wash kegs.
• Clean tanks, floors, and machinery.
• Perform yeast rehydration and add nutrients to fermentations.
• Contribute to the success of the packaging team and the cleanliness of the cellar.
• Work collaboratively as part of the production crew.
