About The Position

2 Towns Ciderhouse is seeking Cellar Crew Members to work within the production crew crafting alcoholic beverages. The role focuses on day-to-day fermentations, filtrations, and beverage production, while also supporting packaging and maintaining a clean cellar. The work is fast-paced, physically demanding, and collaborative; the company welcomes experienced homebrewers who are passionate about expanding their knowledge of craft beverage production at a larger scale. The role is expected to average around 40 hours per week. The listed schedule is Wednesday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., on 12-hour shifts, with a rotating pattern of four days on/three days off and then three days on/four days off. Starting pay is $18.90 per hour. The work environment is described as welcoming, supportive, fun, friendly, very busy, challenging, and gratifying, with a crew that works together toward shared goals.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day fermentations, filtrations, and production of craft alcoholic beverages.
• Fill kegs and wash kegs.
• Clean tanks, floors, and machinery to maintain cellar cleanliness.
• Rehydrate yeast and add nutrients to fermentations.
• Move and handle kegs, including moving 150-pound-or-heavier kegs onto and off pallets.
• Drive a forklift and operate Skyjacks.
• Climb ladders and work with chemicals.
• Contribute positively to the success of the packaging team and work collaboratively with the crew.
