Cellar Assistant/Harvest Intern
About The Position
Perform duties related to the production of wine at one of two winery locations. This is an hourly, full-time, seasonal position with 35-40 hours per week, and overtime required during harvest. The role involves assisting in all aspects of winery production during grape harvest. Expectations include the ability to follow work orders, ask for help when needed, a general interest in wine and its production processes, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, willingness to work as part of a team, and flexibility in day-to-day activities with an emphasis on critical tasks.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Proficiency in English
- Good communication, reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills
- Must be reliable, self-motivated, willing to learn and improve, have a positive attitude and possess a good work ethic
- Ability to move and/or lift 40lbs safely
- Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time
