Requirements
- Proficiency with Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and repair techniques.
- Experience with soldering equipment and working with schematics for electronic repairs.
- Familiarity with hand tools used in electronics repair such as screwdrivers, spudgers, tweezers, etc.
- Excellent analysis skills to troubleshoot software issues and hardware malfunctions efficiently.
- Ability to perform field service visits for on-site device repairs or support.
- Effective communication skills for providing technical support to customers or team members.
- Knowledge of mobile device components including screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, etc., for accurate diagnostics.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair various mobile devices including smartphones, tablets, and other portable electronics.
- Perform software troubleshooting on operating systems such as Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows to resolve issues efficiently.
- Conduct hardware repairs using hand tools and soldering techniques on components like screens, batteries, charging ports, and internal circuits.
- Follow schematics and technical manuals to accurately identify faults and execute repairs with precision.
- Provide technical support for device setup, updates, and troubleshooting both in-store and in the field.
- Assist customers with retail sales of mobile devices and accessories by explaining features and recommending solutions.
- Use analysis skills to evaluate device problems quickly and determine the most effective repair strategies while maintaining quality standards.
