Requirements

  • Proficiency with Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and repair techniques.
  • Experience with soldering equipment and working with schematics for electronic repairs.
  • Familiarity with hand tools used in electronics repair such as screwdrivers, spudgers, tweezers, etc.
  • Excellent analysis skills to troubleshoot software issues and hardware malfunctions efficiently.
  • Ability to perform field service visits for on-site device repairs or support.
  • Effective communication skills for providing technical support to customers or team members.
  • Knowledge of mobile device components including screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, etc., for accurate diagnostics.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair various mobile devices including smartphones, tablets, and other portable electronics.
  • Perform software troubleshooting on operating systems such as Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Conduct hardware repairs using hand tools and soldering techniques on components like screens, batteries, charging ports, and internal circuits.
  • Follow schematics and technical manuals to accurately identify faults and execute repairs with precision.
  • Provide technical support for device setup, updates, and troubleshooting both in-store and in the field.
  • Assist customers with retail sales of mobile devices and accessories by explaining features and recommending solutions.
  • Use analysis skills to evaluate device problems quickly and determine the most effective repair strategies while maintaining quality standards.
