The Computer Cell Technician role is located onsite in Maple Grove, MN, and involves working independently and as part of a team to support internal and external customers with software and licensing.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a computer-related field
  • SAP Hanna S4 knowledge
  • 1 year of IT hardware experience working with desktops and laptops
  • Computer Repair 1 year
  • Good Understanding of Microsoft Windows 7/10
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Office 365 is required
  • Must have effective communication skills, both oral and written, with internal co-workers, and personnel of all skill levels
  • Understanding of common manufacturing processes
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to an ever-changing environment
  • A general understanding of product licensing as related to the computer industry
  • Must be able to develop technical training and/or procedure documentation for end-users
  • Self-motivated with good time management skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Willingness to participate in on-going technical training

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in information technology or related field preferred
  • Preferred Experience trouble shooting software and hardware

Responsibilities

  • Take point on SMA contract issue resolution and automated Portal software fulfillment problems
  • Provide extensive knowledge resources and assistance on software options, software materials, computer hardware and materials, and licensing history of seats
  • Resolution of SAP software materials in the US and multiple different SAP system configuration issues blocking both manual and automated software order fulfillment
  • Provide feedback to the software product managers both within the US and worldwide about software usage, software licensing process, and issues and roadblocks impacting these systems
  • Plan and manage software rollouts, including new Portal rollouts, new licensing system rollouts, and work with those teams to make sure that the US handled changes to software options, licensing, and versions smoothly
  • Plan and execute high-level reworks of software and CRM records when changes were made (example: PiWeb Nodelocked change)
  • Confirm and check accuracy of software maintenance agreement orders and contracts
  • Support IT hardware and software used on the shop floor
