About The Position

DHT is hiring new CDL-A drivers for Over-the-Road (OTR) positions, specifically for Dry Van. This role is based out of Reese, Michigan. DHT is willing to train new CDL-A drivers who are ready to gain OTR experience, emphasizing that this is not a local driving position and drivers will not be home every night. The company offers paid training with experienced driver mentors, first-in/first-out dispatch, weekly home resets, flexible time off, modern equipment, and opportunities for growth within the company. Drivers will learn safe interstate driving, DOT compliance, trip planning, cargo securement, pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and real-world freight operations.

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license
• Willing and able to work Over the Road
• Comfortable spending multiple nights away from home
• Strong work ethic
• Safety-focused mindset
• Willingness to learn
• Professional attitude
• Acceptable MVR
• Ability and willingness to work an Over the Road schedule after training
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical
