About The Position

The CDL Warehouse Driver is responsible for shuttling trailers to and from satellite warehouses, moving trailers around the property lot, and tracking trailer locations. The role also supports warehouse operations as needed and performs shipping, receiving, inventory, and material-handling tasks while following safety and food-safety procedures.

Requirements

Class A CDL in good standing and maintained as required under DOT.
Forklift certification, Yard Tractor Certification, and M.H.E. Certification.
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
Passing score on the Math skills test.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Safely operate yard tractor equipment while maneuvering trailers on the property lot.
Complete and document all pre-trip and post-trip inspections using the appropriate forms.
Safely operate material-handling equipment and complete the required safety checks before operating it.
Maintain food-safety awareness and immediately report issues to management.
Follow all SQF policies and procedures.
Perform required inspections and verifications.
Attach identifying tags or labels to materials as needed.
Complete transactions in S4 Hana to maintain inventory accuracy and lot control.
Read and understand shipping and receiving documents, gauges, schedules, and dispatches.
Move materials into and out of storage safely and without damage.
Generate necessary shipping documents using S4 Hana.
Check shipping documents for accuracy before making copies for the driver.
Communicate with customers, drivers, dispatchers, and the oncoming crew at the window or by phone to ensure a smooth transition.
Assist with warehouse work as needed.
Track trailer locations.
