About The Position

Tempur Sealy is hiring a professional Class A CDL Truck Driver for its Medina, Ohio plant to operate a day cab unit. The driver transports Tempur Sealy products to customer locations within a specific geographic area, delivers and unloads products, and picks up raw materials or other backhaul loads when applicable. The role requires safe, reliable operation and professional interaction with customers and the public, in compliance with company safety standards and DOT regulations.

Requirements

Minimum of 12 months of verifiable CDL-A experience.
No more than one accident or one moving violation in a 12-month period during the last three years.
No DUI, DWI, or DWAI charges in a commercial motor vehicle or personal vehicle within the previous seven years.
No conviction associated with a recordable DOT accident.
No driver's license suspension within the previous seven years because of a moving violation, failure to pay fines, failure to appear, or failure to meet state licensing agency obligations required to maintain an active CDL.

Responsibilities

Safely transport Tempur Sealy products to customer locations within a specific geographic area.
Deliver and unload products at customer locations.
Pick up raw materials and other backhaul loads when applicable.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Represent Tempur Sealy professionally with customers and the public.
Operate in compliance with company safety standards and DOT regulations.
Lift up to 50 lbs.
