About The Position

Commercial Drivers operate heavy-duty trucks equipped with front-, side-, or rear-end load-lift attachments to collect containers of waste or recyclable material. They transport materials to disposal, transfer, or recycling facilities when trucks reach legal load capacity. Containers may weigh more than 1,000 pounds and may need to be maneuvered to a pickup staging area. Drivers navigate high-traffic and congested roadways, driveways, alleyways, and lots; skilled backing maneuvers are essential. Candidates must complete pre-employment screening, including a drug screen and physical, and may be subject to ongoing drug and alcohol testing in accordance with regulations and company policies. The posting notes that drivers are home at night and on weekends.
