About The Position

This position is for a full-time, seasonal CDL Shuttle Driver. The role involves operating a 25 or 33 passenger bus between the Meadows parking lot and the Gondola Square transportation center. The driver will also be responsible for daily DOT inspections, providing guest services, managing parking lots, and ensuring traffic control. This position offers a $1000 bonus, paid in two parts, and qualifies for employee benefits.

Requirements

2 years of previous work history/education required
Must have a valid commercial driver's license
Must enjoy people, driving, and be outgoing and personable
Must present a professional, well-groomed appearance
Adhere to all safety policies
Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Company’s Service Excellence standards
Must have valid driver’s license without limitations or restrictions and meet company’s insurability standards
Must be minimum 21 years of age
Must read, write, and speak clearly in English
Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug urinalysis test
Sit for long periods of time

Responsibilities

Driving a 25 / 33 passenger bus between the Meadows parking lot and the Gondola Square transportation center in a safe manner
Daily Department of Transportation (DOT) inspections
Provide excellent Guest Services (i.e. resort Information, directions, etc.)
Provide traffic control of vehicles entering and leaving parking lots, ensuring safe, steady flow, and pedestrian safety; manage parking lots efficiently by parking cars in straight, tight rows
Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
Other duties as assigned
