About The Position

E.A. Sween is hiring experienced Class A or B CDL Route Delivery Drivers to deliver fresh food products to convenience stores on established overnight routes. The role is physically active and involves loading the truck, unloading products, and making multiple deliveries during each shift. Drivers operate a 24–28-foot straight box truck and provide professional customer service. Work takes place in warehouse temperatures of approximately 38–70°F and in varying outdoor weather conditions. The schedule is generally 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., continuing until the route is complete. Finish times vary by route. Nights, weekends, holidays, and additional hours may be required. Starting pay is $28.00 per hour. Benefits are subject to eligibility, plan details, and change.

Requirements

Valid Class A or B CDL.
At least 21 years old.
At least six months of route delivery driving and box truck backing experience, including physically demanding work.
Motor vehicle record that meets company guidelines.
Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.
Ability to speak and understand English.
Ability to work in a fast-paced overnight environment.
Repeatedly lift up to 75 pounds.
Push and pull up to 300 pounds of product using a four-wheel dolly.
Frequently bend, kneel, squat, turn, and reach above shoulder height, at waist level, and to the floor.
Load and unload the truck throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a 24–28-foot straight box truck.
Deliver fresh food products accurately and on time.
Load the truck, verify order counts, and complete required paperwork.
Unload and move products using a four-wheel dolly.
Provide professional, friendly customer service.
Work in warehouse temperatures of approximately 38–70°F and varying outdoor weather conditions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
