About The Position

The CDL Residential Driver supports waste management and recycling operations by safely driving a rear-load garbage truck on assigned routes and collecting solid waste in residential neighborhoods, construction sites, and other assigned areas. The driver reads route sheets, services customers as assigned by the dispatcher, and operates lever hand controls for the truck’s hydraulic machinery to collect and dump waste. The role also involves basic pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is safe and ready for the route. This is a full-time, year-round position, typically scheduled Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday work as needed. Drivers are typically home every evening. The work requires lifting and carrying objects up to 70 pounds and repeatedly climbing in and out of the truck. Requirements

Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
Current, valid DOT medical certificate.
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 70 pounds to shoulder height.
Ability to climb in and out of the truck throughout the shift.
Ability to perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the truck and its components.

Responsibilities
