About The Position

Requirements
- Possession of an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C Driver's License or equivalent
- Possession of an active Pennsylvania Class A or B Commercial Driver Learner's Permit on the first day of work
- Possession of an active Medical Examiner’s Certificate in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Regulations by the first day of work
- Ability to perform essential job functions
Responsibilities
- Learn to operate heavy trucks, loaders, and related equipment for highway and bridge maintenance
- Follow proper safety procedures and protective equipment requirements to maintain a safe work environment
- Use motorized and non-motorized hand tools for manual labor tasks such as patching, trimming, and clearing work areas
- Monitor surroundings to help prevent hazards, report injuries or accidents, and support safe crew operations
- Carry out environmental protection and management requirements associated with maintenance activities
