Requirements

• Must be in possession of an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C Driver's License or equivalent.
• All employees must possess an active Pennsylvania Class A or B Commercial Driver Learner's Permit on the first day of work.
• All positions require employees to possess an active Medical Examiner’s Certificate in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Regulations by the first day of work.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions.
• Conditional offer of employment will require drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Receive training that builds the skills needed to operate trucks and front-end loaders
• Use vehicle controls, seat belts, and tire chains to support safe work on road crews
• Perform physical tasks using tools such as shovels, rakes, chain saws, compressors, and jack hammers
• Follow safety rules, report injuries and equipment issues, and help reduce risks on the work site
• Support environmental goals by meeting training requirements and following program guidelines
