Build a solid foundation as a PennDOT CDL Operator Trainee with the Department of Transportation, Lebanon County Maintenance Organization. Requirements
- Must possess an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C Driver's License or equivalent.
- Must possess an active Pennsylvania Class A or B Commercial Driver Learner's Permit by the first day of work.
- Must possess a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations by the first day of work.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Responsibilities
- Learn to operate trucks, loaders, and other machinery for highway and bridge maintenance
- Use motorized and manual tools safely for a variety of laboring tasks
- Follow safety procedures, report hazards, and maintain awareness of worksite risks
- Assist maintenance crews by performing inspections, adjustments, and general labor duties
- Apply environmental protection requirements during maintenance activities
