About The Position

The Fuel Truck Driver is responsible for delivering and servicing a group of liquid fuel customers, including delivering products as needed. The role places a high value on customer service and customer retention. This job description is not inclusive of all duties and responsibilities; duties may be added or removed based on business needs and may change when business dictates.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Knowledge of basic commercial truck maintenance.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of individuals.
• Ability to follow established processes.
• Basic knowledge of computers and basic software.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• CDL license with the appropriate endorsements.
• Ability to reach, pull, and lift 50+ lbs.
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting and pulling motions.
• Ability to read documents with fine print.
• Ability to use a keyboard.
• Ability to hear effectively on the phone.

Responsibilities

• Deliver energy products to customers on a timely basis.
• Respond to emergency service calls as needed.
• Maintain timely, accurate records of sales and inventories.
• Maintain safety standards at all times.
• Communicate daily with the department manager.
• Seek opportunities to sell additional products and services.
• Operate within the standards set by USDOT and FMCSR.
