About The Position
The Fuel Truck Driver delivers and services a group of liquid fuel customers, including delivering products as needed. The role places high value on customer service and customer retention.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
- Knowledge of basic commercial truck maintenance.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of individuals.
- Ability to follow established processes.
- Basic knowledge of computers and basic software.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- CDL license with the appropriate endorsements.
- Able to reach, pull, and lift 50+ lbs.
- Able to perform repetitive lifting and pulling motions.
- Able to read documents with fine print.
- Able to use a keyboard.
- Able to hear effectively on the phone.
Responsibilities
- Deliver energy products to customers on a timely basis.
- Respond to emergency service calls as needed.
- Maintain timely and accurate records of sales and inventories.
- Maintain safety standards at all times.
- Communicate daily with the department manager.
- Seek opportunities to sell additional products and services.
- Operate within standards set by USDOT and FMCSR.
