About The Position

Bergey’s Inc. is hiring a part-time CDL Driver for Bergey’s Truck Center in Ephrata, Pennsylvania. The role operates vehicles in accordance with Department of Transportation and company rules, test-drives trucks after work is complete, and shuttles vehicles to and from customer locations. The starting pay is $20.00 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license; CDL required.
Positive attitude and good communication skills.
Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Operate vehicles in accordance with DOT and company rules.
Test-drive trucks after work is complete.
Shuttle trucks to and from customer locations.
Pick up and deliver serviced vehicles.
Use sound judgment and safe driving skills.
Keep shuttle routes timely.
Use a radio or similar device to communicate with the dealership or other vehicles and report service disruptions.
Keep a record of trip destinations or pickup points.
Notify the manager when the shuttle vehicle needs servicing, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning, or general maintenance.
Maintain a professional appearance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
