About The Position

BakeMark is hiring a part-time CDL Class A Driver. Under general supervision, the driver operates a truck with a capacity of more than 3 tons to transport materials to and from specified destinations. This is not a dock-to-dock position; breaking down and rotating goods is required at customer locations. Three-day shifts are available Monday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Friday, with the potential to work more than 36 hours. Multiple openings are available. Unrestricted licenses are not accepted.

Requirements

• Class A CDL.
• An unrestricted license is not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Drive the truck to assigned destinations.
• Break down and rotate goods at customer locations.
• Prepare receipts for delivered loads and verify products against invoices, noting discrepancies.
• Collect payment for delivered goods when required and according to invoice instructions.
• Maintain the truck log in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Maintain communication with Branch Management.
• Load and unload the truck.
• Inspect truck equipment and supplies, including tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water.
• Safely operate and inspect power equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, ramps, loading docks, and lift gates.
• Follow applicable government regulations, company safety manuals and policies, and other safety guidelines.
• Work in a manner that prevents damage to company equipment, facilities, and products.
• Maintain proper cleanliness of equipment.
• Follow up on customer requests and questions to ensure an appropriate response and customer satisfaction.
• Treat internal and external customers with respect, courtesy, and kindness.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety rules.
