CWR - CDL Driver
About The Position
Service Partners is hiring a CDL Driver to deliver and unload finished products, parts, and materials at customer locations. The role involves safely operating a local tractor-trailer combination, providing customer service and building customer relationships, and assisting in the warehouse as needed. Drivers must be able to read, write, and understand English and use navigation software. The position is safety-sensitive and may require overnight travel. Seventy-five percent of work activities are performed inside the commercial vehicle cab, with the remainder outdoors and in a warehouse setting.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required when operating a vehicle for company purposes.
- Valid Class A or Class B driver's license.
- At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle Record.
- Ability to meet State and Federal transportation and medical requirements to operate a three-axle vehicle.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English and use navigation software.
- Ability to perform prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
- Good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, depending on job duties.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and unload finished products, parts, and materials at customer locations.
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination locally.
- Load and unload trucks, including frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with customers.
- Assist in the warehouse as needed.
- Perform other duties, tasks, or responsibilities as assigned.
