About The Position

The role involves operating waste collection trucks to collect and transport materials while following safety requirements, maintaining vehicles and records, and providing customer service. Requirements

Possess a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL); the license must have been held for at least two years.
Have two years of satisfactory driving experience with Class A or B vehicles.
Maintain a satisfactory driving record/MVR.
Pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.
Hold a valid medical certification/medical card; the posting lists the medical card as preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be dependable, reliable, and trustworthy.

Nice To Haves

At least two years of garbage-truck industry driving experience with rear-load, ASL, roll-off, or front-end-load vehicles.
Previous experience with Front-End Load, Roll-Off, Rear-Load, or Automated Side-Load (ASL) vehicles.
Prior waste industry driving experience.
High school diploma or GED (desired).

Responsibilities

Operate Front-End Load, Roll-Off, Rear-Load, or Automated Side-Load (ASL) trucks to collect and transport waste materials.
Safely load and unload materials while adhering to safety regulations.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform minor mechanical maintenance as needed.
Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate with team members and supervisors.
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with the public.
