About The Position

Combined Metal Industries (CMI) is seeking a safety-focused, reliable CDL Driver in New Castle, Pennsylvania. The role operates trucks hauling roll-off bins and dump trailers on local routes, with no overnight travel. Drivers perform equipment inspections, safely transport materials in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies, maintain accurate logs and documentation, and support yard and operations teams as needed. The position may require extended hours to support business needs. The schedule is day shift, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CMI describes the work as stable, year-round employment, with drivers home daily and working with a team focused on safety, accountability, and performance.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
Minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience.
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
Proven commitment to safe driving and equipment care.
High attention to detail, particularly with inspections and documentation.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Strong work ethic and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.

Nice To Haves

Roll-off or dump trailer experience.
Experience with Samsara or other ELD/GPS systems.
