About The Position

Style Crest is seeking a dependable CDL Driver / Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations at its distribution team in Hammond, Louisiana. The role includes picking orders, loading trucks, receiving materials, and transporting products in a commercial vehicle between company facilities. The associate may provide CDL A driver replacement when needed. The role requires operating a manual-transmission vehicle without restrictions. Style Crest has a 50-year tradition of growth and innovation in the building products industry. It serves the manufactured housing industry and residential exterior cladding market with an extensive product offering and a customer service platform.

Requirements

Hold a proper CDL A license and meet all DOT driver requirements.
Be able to operate a manual transmission with no automatic restriction.
Have customer service skills.
Have forklift experience.
Have warehouse experience.
Be familiar with RF guns and barcode labels.
Have good verbal and written communication skills.
Be able to lift 100 pounds.
Be able to understand and read English.

Responsibilities

Pull orders for delivery.
Load trucks for deliveries.
Handle customer pickups.
Drive the company CDL A truck to deliver products to customers when required by management.
Unload inbound products and monitor for damages, shortages, and overages; complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
Receive shipments properly and put materials away.
Assist with inventory and cycle counts.
Clean the warehouse and maintain good housekeeping.
Operate a forklift and powered equipment for loading, unloading, and putting away materials.
Work with the Lead Warehouse person and traffic team to route and properly load trucks.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
