About The Position

The CDL Driver II operates tanker trucks to haul hazardous and non-hazardous fluids locally and some regionally, while returning home daily. The work includes loading, unloading, and transporting liquid waste and petrochemical materials safely and in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) and company requirements. Drivers primarily operate automatic tanker equipment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must hold a Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Minimum of 2 years of tanker experience.
• TWIC card required.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather and in confined spaces.
• Must meet DOT vision and hearing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tanker trucks to haul hazardous and non-hazardous fluids.
• Load and unload materials using pumps and hoses as required.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Complete required paperwork, including manifests, bills of lading, and logs.
• Ensure proper placarding and compliance with DOT standards.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch and customer sites.
• Perform additional assigned duties.
