About The Position

ABC Supply is hiring a CDL delivery truck driver who also operates a crane. The role is responsible for safely completing deliveries from departure at the facility through delivery at each job site. Drivers are home every night, and the position does not require over-the-road travel. Duties may also include warehouse work, such as loading and unloading materials from trucks or in the warehouse.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 75–100 pounds.
• Crane certification.
• Complete a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug screens.

Nice To Haves

• Flatbed, knuckle, and/or drywall boom truck experience.
• HazMat endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain a safe work zone at each job site.
• Follow the assigned delivery schedule and job directives precisely.
• Document each delivery step by taking and uploading photos using the camera phone system.
• Inspect the truck load before leaving the branch, ensuring materials are secured and the truck complies with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Coordinate with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where to place materials and unload them.
• Complete and file logs and required government paperwork accurately and on time.
• Provide customers with an invoice upon delivery and collect the full amount due for COD deliveries.
• Perform warehouse work as assigned, including loading and unloading materials.
