About The Position

ABC Supply is hiring a CDL Delivery Truck Driver / Roof Loader to make ground and rooftop deliveries. The driver is responsible for the safety of each delivery from departure from the facility through completion at the job site. This position does not require over-the-road travel and may also involve warehouse work, including loading and unloading materials. Equipment operation and loading materials onto roofs are required. The role offers the opportunity to be home every night.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 75–100 pounds.
• Ability and willingness to work on rooftops.
• Successful completion of required pre-employment and random drug screens.

Nice To Haves

• Conveyor truck experience.
• Drywall boom truck experience.
• Crane certification.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain a safe work zone at each job site.
• Follow the assigned delivery schedule and job directives precisely.
• Document each delivery step by taking and uploading photos with the company camera phone system.
• Complete a thorough truck load check before leaving the branch, securing delivery materials and ensuring the truck complies with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Coordinate with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where to place materials and unload them.
• Complete and file logs and required government paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Provide the customer with an invoice upon delivery completion and collect the full amount due for COD deliveries.
• Perform warehouse work as assigned, including loading and unloading materials onto or off trucks or into the warehouse.
• Operate equipment and load materials onto roofs.
