About The Position

Responsible for loading, unloading, transporting, and positioning materials to and from various sites on the rooftops of residential homes and commercial buildings while upholding the company’s standards for outstanding customer service and operational excellence. The role works primarily outdoors and on rooftops in varying weather conditions, using manual and mechanical methods to handle materials and machinery. Safety equipment is required, and the work involves exposure to loud machinery noise.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical fitness and ability to lift items weighing up to 100 pounds and operate machinery.
Good balance and comfort working at significant heights on varied roof surfaces.
Reliable transportation for commuting.
Authorized to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship.
Ability to pass criminal and driving background checks and a pre-employment drug test.
Proficient verbal and written communication in English.
Safety awareness and knowledge of OSHA guidelines.
Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Availability to work Monday through Friday, with potential overtime based on delivery schedules and peak seasons.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks using manual and mechanical methods.
Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
Safely distribute materials onto flat and sloped roofs according to company safety guidelines.
Operate conveyor belt systems, when trained and certified, to transport building materials from flatbed trucks to rooftops.
Accurately verify and reconcile material orders.
Provide service to roofing contractors.
Follow OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
Coordinate loading and unloading processes with drivers and other team members.
