About The Position

ABC Supply is hiring a CDL Delivery Truck Driver / Roof Loader to make ground and rooftop deliveries. The driver is responsible for the safety of each delivery from departure from the facility through completion at the job site. The role involves operating equipment and loading materials onto roofs, and may also include warehouse work and loading or unloading materials. This position does not require over-the-road travel, and drivers are home every night.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 75–100 pounds.
• Ability and willingness to work on rooftops.
• Complete a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug screens.

• Conveyor truck experience.
• Drywall boom truck experience.
• Crane certification.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Conduct a safe work zone at each job site.
• Follow the assigned delivery schedule and job directives precisely.
• Document each step of every delivery by taking and uploading photos through the camera phone system.
• Inspect the truck load before leaving the branch to ensure materials are secured and the truck complies with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Coordinate with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where to place materials and unload them.
• Complete and file logs and required government paperwork accurately and on time.
• Provide customers with an invoice upon delivery completion and collect the full amount due on COD deliveries.
• Perform warehouse work as assigned, including loading and unloading materials onto or off trucks or into the warehouse.
• Operate equipment and load materials onto roofs.
