The Service Specialist (CDL Delivery Driver) safely operates an 18- to 24-foot commercial vehicle to deliver dialysis products to home patients and kidney dialysis centers. Home visits include delivering dialysis solution, rotating stock, verifying order accuracy, and occasionally picking up orders and returns. Routes may be multiple days and include overnight travel; hotel and meal per diem are provided for overnight stays. The schedule is a four-day work week, typically 5 a.m.–3 p.m. or 6 a.m.–4 p.m., with one to two overnight trips per week and weekends off. This is a physically demanding position serving customers in urban and rural locations. Home deliveries can involve up to—and sometimes more than—45 cases per delivery. The Service Specialist works with dialysis patients, regional office staff, customer service, and healthcare professionals. The work environment includes distribution centers, tractor trailers, patient homes, and dialysis centers.
