CDL Day Cab Driver

About The Position
SC2 is hiring full-time Class A CDL drivers to transport material between local facilities. This is a first-shift position with a scheduled 50-hour work week, overtime opportunities, and some overtime potentially required depending on workload. Deliveries are local, drivers are home every night, and pay is issued weekly. The role is described as a company-driver position in an employee-owned, casual family atmosphere with opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Requirements
- Hold a valid Class A CDL.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a clean driving record and valid automobile insurance.
- Be safety-minded.
- Be flexible with the work schedule.
- Driving experience: 1 year preferred.
Nice To Haves
- 1–3 years of Class A CDL driving experience.
Responsibilities
- Inspect the vehicle before and after use, log inspections, and report required maintenance or other issues.
- Maintain safe vehicle conditions.
- Protect the load by following organizational policies and procedures.
- Adhere to highway rules and regulations.
- Read and comprehend safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure documents.
- Track and document activity logs properly.
