About The Position
Walmart is hiring a local CDL-A driver for a dedicated retail delivery account based in Colton, California. The role involves no-touch freight and multi-stop deliveries, typically 1–2 stops per day, across the Los Angeles Basin, Inland Empire, Orange County, and San Diego County. Drivers operate a day cab in a slip-seat arrangement; trucks cannot be taken home. Approximately 1,700 miles are driven per week, and drivers are home daily. Reliable transportation is required for commuting to and from the work location. The operation runs 24 hours a day. Start times are assigned based on operational needs after onboarding, so flexibility is required. Six-day workweeks may be required during peak seasons, with one day off. Pay includes mileage-band pay, stop pay, and detention pay. Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- No SAP drivers.
- Reliable transportation to and from the work location.
- Flexibility with assigned start times and peak-season schedules.
Responsibilities
