About The Position

Heritage Landscape Supply is hiring a safety-conscious, self-motivated team player as a local CDL Class B Driver. The role delivers products to customers’ businesses, job sites, and branch locations within a maximum radius of the home branch. Deliveries start and end at the branch, with no overnight stays. The job involves local daytime driving and part-time hours, with overtime opportunities during busy seasons. Compensation is $25 to $29 per hour, with weekly pay. The driver operates a commercial vehicle in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations, loads and unloads orders, and may perform related warehouse and branch tasks. The position is based at National Structure in Atkinson, New Hampshire.

Requirements

Valid Class B CDL.
Safe driving record with no hit-and-run or DWI/DUI convictions within the last three years; accidents and/or severe violations in the last year will be reviewed by HR and Management.
Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively.
Ability to pass a background check, pre-employment drug test, and DOT physical.

Nice To Haves

Prior commercial driving experience and knowledge of DOT and OSHA safety regulations.
Forklift experience.
Other types of truck experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

Prioritize safety while performing all duties.
Operate a commercial vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations and adhere to FMCSA regulations.
Load, unload, and stage orders in a warehouse or job-site environment.
Deliver products to customer sites and branch locations, unloading products as needed.
Perform related duties such as stocking, order entry, shipping, and receiving.
Maintain delivery, truck, and driving records, including signed delivery receipts, tracking information, driver logs, and truck performance forms.
