About The Position

MedTrans is Medline’s private fleet of professional drivers, delivering medical products to commercial and residential customers. The fleet has more than 2,100 trucks and operates a national network of over 50 distribution centers. The Driver operates a Class A vehicle to transport medical products from a Medline facility to local customers. The role supports positive customer relationships by making timely, accurate, and safe deliveries, providing in-person customer support, and completing required documentation.

Requirements

• Class A CDL and license to operate the assigned vehicle.
• At least 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Meet all federal and state requirements for operating commercial motor vehicles.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations.
• Ability to frequently move, lift, and carry supplies or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure products from the Medline facility into a truck.
• Safely operate a Class A vehicle between the Medline facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route.
• Follow Medline safety regulations, including wearing required safety equipment and performing safety checks.
• Unload and deliver products at customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Provide in-person customer support by addressing questions and needs and providing appropriate delivery documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch about necessary route or schedule adjustments to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
• Maintain travel and cargo logs in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy.
• Inspect the vehicle to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel for continued use.
