About The Position

AMERI-CANS is hiring a full-time Driver - CDL Class A with a Tanker endorsement and without the “E” restriction at its Haskell, Texas location. This role supports the daily operations of a growing portable sanitation company by servicing, cleaning, and stocking portable sanitation equipment and systems. The driver completes assigned routes, maintains professional customer contact, and communicates with dispatch. Duties also include truck upkeep, safe cargo handling, and onsite repairs as needed.

Requirements

• Valid U.S. Commercial Driver’s License (Class A).
• Tanker endorsement.
• No “E” restriction (No Manual Transmission Equipped Commercial Motor Vehicle).
• Drivers with a non-U.S. permanent residence must meet FMCSA eligibility requirements effective September 29, 2025.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean, safe driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of traffic and safety regulations, including rest and mileage limits.
• Physically fit and able to pass a DOT physical exam every two years.
• Must pass a background check.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Some job sites may require U.S. citizenship and a clean criminal history for access.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods and to move fingers and hands; stoop, crawl, bend, twist, reach, and crouch.
• Ability to perform essential duties with minimal or no supervision.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and drag up to 185 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Service, clean, and stock portable toilets, holding tanks, freshwater systems, hand-wash stations, and restroom/shower trailers as needed.
• Vacuum pump, clean, and sanitize portable restroom units at customer sites.
• Restock paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap, and refill water holding tanks.
• Perform daily truck maintenance, including refueling and cleaning.
• Communicate and coordinate with dispatch daily to complete service routes.
• Follow and comply with applicable traffic laws and truck-driving rules and regulations.
• Repair portable restroom units onsite as necessary.
• Secure cargo to ensure proper balance and safe transport.
• Promptly report defects, accidents, or violations.
• Interact with customers professionally and courteously.
