CDL Bus Driver - Villa Transportation
About The Position
Kiawah Island Golf Resort is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-service-driven Villa Transportation Driver to serve as an ambassador for the resort and The Sanctuary Hotel. Drivers anticipate guest needs, acknowledge requests, and consistently work to exceed guest expectations. The role transports resort guests and belongings throughout the resort, provides welcoming and helpful service, and maintains the safety and cleanliness of assigned vehicles. The position must be performed onsite. Full-time employees may receive specified benefits after applicable waiting periods. Employment offers are contingent on a background check.
Requirements
- Valid CDL driver license with a Passenger (P) endorsement.
- Comfort driving vehicles ranging from a 10–14 passenger Sprinter van to a 28-seat bus.
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently over a two-way radio.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good to excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Must pass a background check.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds over short to medium distances.
- Must work onsite due to the daily requirements of the job.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests to Kiawah Island and wish them safe travels upon departure.
- Transport resort guests to destinations including The Sanctuary Hotel, championship golf courses, the tennis center, resort pools, and restaurants while providing excellent guest service.
- Carry baggage to and from guest villas and homes and help guests become familiar with their accommodations as needed.
- Deliver amenities, golf bags, luggage, and other items as needed.
- Inspect the van or bus before each shift for safety concerns and cleanliness inside and out.
- Uphold the resort’s core values, policies, and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
