About The Position

E.A. Sween is hiring a CDL B Route Delivery Driver in Woodridge, Illinois. This is an active, hands-on delivery role involving local overnight routes in a 26-foot air-brake box truck. Drivers make approximately 20–30 stops per shift, delivering fresh food products to 7-Eleven and Speedway stores. The warehouse loads the truck before the route; drivers unload products at each store using a two-wheel dolly, check in deliveries, collect empty crates, and keep the route moving safely and efficiently. The position pays $28 per hour and offers a fixed four-day workweek, local routes with daily home returns, overtime availability, a full benefits package, and eligibility for Teamsters Local 703 membership after 90 days.

Requirements

Hold a CDL Class B with an air brake endorsement.
Have at least 6 months of experience driving a box truck or larger vehicle.
Have experience operating a box truck or larger commercial vehicle.
Have clear FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse status.
Have an MVR that meets company guidelines.
Be at least 21 years old.
Be able to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, physical assessment, and background check.
Be able to repeatedly lift up to 75 pounds.
Be able to push or pull up to 300 pounds using a dolly.
Be comfortable with frequent climbing in and out of the truck, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and working outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

Drive a 26-foot air-brake box truck on local overnight routes.
Complete approximately 20–30 store deliveries per shift to 7-Eleven and Speedway locations.
Unload product crates using a two-wheel dolly.
Accurately check in deliveries with store personnel.
Collect empty crates from stores.
Use a tablet to record deliveries.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Maintain DOT logs and required paperwork.
Provide professional customer service at every stop.
Operate safely and efficiently, including working outdoors in all weather.
