About The Position

Len Busch Roses is hiring a full-time CDL B Route Delivery Driver to deliver flowers and plants safely, promptly, and economically while providing customer-driven service. The schedule is four 10-hour shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, with a 2:00 AM start each day. Pay is $27–$31 per hour, depending on experience.

Drivers follow written standard work and associated cycle times, deliver products in the condition they left Len Busch Roses, follow delivery instructions, place products where customers request, and return any returned product. The role also includes daily vehicle inspections and pickups for internal customers. Drivers may make up to 25 lift-gate deliveries per shift and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Len Busch Roses is a privately held, values-based, family-oriented wholesale florist and grower with 200 employees. The company grows and imports flowers and plants and distributes them to independent retail florists and mass-market merchants across a five-state area.

Requirements

• Class B license with air brakes.
• At least one year of driving experience.
• Ability to load and unload freight by hand.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver flowers and plants safely, timely, and economically while providing customer-driven service.
• Complete tasks according to written standard work and meet the cycle times associated with each step.
• Deliver products on time and in the condition they were in when they left Len Busch Roses.
• Follow delivery instructions, place products where customers request, and bring back returned product.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections.
• Make pickups for internal customers.
• Recommend process changes to improve productivity, safety, and quality.
• Work safely while remaining aware of potential hazards.
