About The Position

Ohio Textile is hiring a Class B CDL driver to run local delivery routes out of Zanesville, Ohio. The driver delivers clean linens to hotels, hospitals, and local businesses and picks up soiled linens on established routes. The position is home every night, with no overnight stays or long hauls. Drivers use a company truck and work with linen carts on wheels, rolling them on and off the truck rather than carrying them. Guaranteed pay starts at $970 per week and increases to $1,025 per week after six months. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is paid in installments: $500 after 60 days, $500 after 180 days, and $1,000 after one year. Ohio Textile is part of a family-owned company with a history dating back to 1934. Requirements

Valid Class B CDL.
Clean driving record.
Comfort with physical work throughout the day, including pushing and pulling heavy carts and lifting.

Responsibilities

Drive a company truck on an established local route, delivering clean linens and picking up soiled linens.
Load and unload linen carts on wheels, rolling them on and off the truck.
Build and maintain relationships with the main customer contact at each stop.
Check deliveries to ensure each customer receives the correct order.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and follow DOT rules.
