About The Position

This position delivers and picks up customer linen in a timely and professional manner along assigned routes, using company-assigned box trucks and/or cargo vans. The driver delivers and collects linen carts, reconciles loads and delivery tickets, and provides courteous customer service. The role involves frequent loading and unloading of linen carts, independent work on the road, and variable shifts based on business needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid CDL Class B license and current DOT medical card.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant driving experience.
Clean driving record.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate professionally.
Punctual, deadline-driven, and self-motivated.
Comfortable working independently and making decisions on the road.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Operate company-assigned box trucks or cargo vans along designated or alternate delivery routes.
Deliver and collect linen carts on time and obtain signed delivery tickets.
Reconcile delivery and pickup loads to ensure accuracy.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report issues.
Keep the delivery vehicle clean, disinfected, and refueled at the end of each shift.
Comply with DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
Communicate route updates or customer concerns to the Logistics Manager.
Maintain a professional appearance in the company-provided uniform and provide courteous customer service.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Frequently load and unload linen carts.
