Entry Level CDL-A Truck Driver - No Unloading - Paid Mentor Training
About The Position
Entry-level CDL-A truck driving opportunity for recent CDL school graduates in Middle Tennessee. Drivers haul temperature-controlled freight and receive 4 to 6 weeks of paid training with an experienced mentor. Training pay is $650 per week, followed by full solo pay upon completion. Solo drivers average $1,300 to $1,500 in weekly gross pay, with a $1,000-per-week guarantee for the first 3 months solo, 1,900 to 2,500 miles per week, and a monthly performance bonus. The role does not require unloading trailers, and drivers are home every two weeks. A $300 paid orientation is provided, with travel covered. Riders and pets are permitted after training is complete.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years old and hold a valid Class A CDL.
- For entry-level applicants, have completed at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL school; no driving experience is needed.
- Experienced drivers must have 6 months of OTR experience in the last 12 months, or 12 or more months in the past 5 years.
- Have no more than 2 moving violations in 2 years.
- Have no major preventable accidents in 5 years.
- Have no DUI/DWI in the past 5 to 10 years.
- Pass hair and urine drug testing.
Responsibilities
