Regional dry van truck-driving role for drivers based in South Georgia. Drivers operate in the eastern part of the country, with hubs ranging from Savannah and Jacksonville to Charlotte and Nashville. The work includes drop-and-hook and some live loads, with no single customer. Drivers generally return home every two weeks and may be home for the holidays they want. New CDL holders receive training for 4 to 6 weeks at $850 per week, working on real loads with an experienced mentor. Orientation pays $300, and lodging is covered. Once driving solo, drivers receive a guaranteed $1,000 per week for the first 3 months. Average weekly pay is $1,000 to $1,500, with 1,800 to 2,300 miles per week, $15 stop pay, and a performance bonus.
