About The Position

Crestview is hiring entry-level CDL-A trainee drivers, including new CDL holders and military veterans. Drivers are based within the East Coast fleet's hiring area, approximately two hours from the Mobile terminal. Routes run up and down the eastern seaboard, with loads generally not going far west. Drivers typically cover 2,000 to 2,500 miles per week and are home every two weeks. Trainees receive $650 per week during 4 to 6 weeks of training. During the first three months driving solo, drivers receive a $1,000 weekly guarantee. Starting mileage pay is $0.55 per mile, with an additional cent per mile for each year of experience; average weekly pay is $1,200 to $1,800. Drivers also receive $15 per stop and $300 in orientation pay. Pets and riders are permitted after training. The employer is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years old.
Hold a valid Class A CDL.
Have completed at least 120 hours of CDL school.
No driving experience is required for entry-level applicants.
Experienced applicants must have 6 months of experience in the past 12 months or 12 months in the past 5 years.
Have no more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years and no serious violations in the past 12 months.
Have no major preventable accidents in the past 5 years.
Have no DUI/DWI in the past 5 to 10 years.
Pass hair and urine drug tests.
Provide 3 years of verifiable work history.
