The role is for a dry van fleet hiring new CDL-A holders, including trainees. Drivers receive 4 to 6 weeks of paid mentor training at $650 per week, followed by a $1,000 weekly guarantee during the first 3 months of solo driving. Once running, drivers average $1,200 to $1,800 per week. Routes cover areas from Denver east, excluding the Northeast, and drivers are home every two weeks. A typical week involves 1,800 to 2,900 miles, with a mix of drop-and-hook and live loads. Drivers may choose how extensively they drive. Some winter routes go north and require cold-weather driving. Trucks are late-model and have automatic or 10-speed transmissions.
