CDL-A Truck Driver Paid Training for Entry Level - $1,200 to $1,500/Week

About The Position

This is an entry-level CDL-A truck driver position with an East Coast dry van fleet based at the Greer terminal, about 30 minutes from Gaffney. Freight runs up and down the eastern seaboard and does not travel far west. Drivers return home every two weeks. New CDL holders receive $850 per week during 4 to 6 weeks of training. After going solo, drivers receive a $1,000 weekly guarantee for three months. Starting mileage pay is $0.55 per mile, increasing by one cent per year up to $0.65 per mile. Average weekly pay is $1,200 to $1,500, with approximately 2,500 miles per week and $15 stop pay. Drivers operate late-model Freightliner trucks with dry van trailers. Freight work includes drop-and-hook and live loads. Trucks have automatic or 10-speed transmissions.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
Valid Class A CDL.
At least 120 hours of CDL school.
No experience is needed for entry-level applicants.
Experienced applicants must have 6 months of experience in the past 12 months or 12 months in the past 5 years.
Military experience may be considered with a DD214.
No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years and no serious violations in the past 12 months.
No major preventable accidents in the past 5 years.
No DUI/DWI within the past 5 to 10 years.
Must pass hair and urine drug tests.
Three years of verifiable work history.
