About The Position

We are hiring entry-level CDL-A drivers for an Over-the-Road (OTR) dry van position, serving the areas of Orange Park, Middleburg, and Clay County. This role offers a structured training program with guaranteed pay, followed by opportunities for significant weekly earnings and regular home time. The position involves driving dry van freight east of Denver, with no Northeast routes. Loads will include a mix of drop and hook, preloads, and live loads. Additional compensation is provided for extra stops and short hauls, along with a monthly bonus. Some weekends may require being on the road, while holidays are volunteer-based. Drivers can expect to be home every two weeks.

Requirements

At least 21 years old.
Valid Class A CDL.
Recent CDL school graduate or 6 months of recent experience.
No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years.
No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years.
Must pass a DOT physical and hair and urine testing.

Nice To Haves

Riders are allowed.
A small dog is allowed after training.

Responsibilities

Drive dry van freight east of Denver, with no Northeast routes.
Handle a mix of drop and hook, preloads, and live loads.
Complete assigned routes and deliveries efficiently.
Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
Maintain accurate logs and trip records.
Participate in training with a mentor for backing, trip planning, logs, and fueling.
Operate an assigned tractor, averaging about 1.5 years old, with automatic or 10-speed transmission.
Be available for some weekends on the road.
Volunteer for holiday routes if needed.
