About The Position

R+L Carriers is hiring full-time Class A Linehaul Drivers at its Yemassee, South Carolina Service Center. Drivers pull van trailers up to 53 feet or double trailers between service centers and/or turn-point locations and return home daily. The role offers earnings of up to $95,000 yearly and a Monday–Friday schedule with various shifts.

Requirements

• CDL Class A.
• At least 1 year of combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Good driving record/MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years.
• Age 23, or age 21 if FMCSA specifications for transition from military to civilian CDL are successfully met.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen.
• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependability.

Nice To Haves

• Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz-mat CDL endorsements.
• Experience hauling Haz-mat.
• Experience pulling doubles.
• LTL freight experience.

Responsibilities

• Pull van trailers up to 53 feet or double trailers between service centers and/or turn-point locations.
• Operate equipment safely at all times.
• Complete a successful road test.
