About The Position

R+L Carriers is hiring Class A Linehaul Drivers at its Portland, Oregon Service Center. Drivers pull van trailers up to 53 feet or double trailers between service centers and/or turn-point locations and return home daily. The posting advertises earnings of up to $95,000 yearly. Paid time off is available after the first 90 calendar days of employment. The role requires safe operation of equipment and passing a road test, DOT physical, and drug screen.

Requirements

• CDL Class A.
• One year of combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past three years.
• Good driving record/MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than three moving violations total within the past three years.
• Must be age 23, or age 21 if FMCSA specifications for transitioning from military to civilian CDL have been successfully met.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen.
• Ability to complete a successful road test.
• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependability.

Nice To Haves

• Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz-mat CDL endorsements.
• Experience hauling Haz-mat.
• Experience pulling doubles.
• LTL freight experience.
